Many of your students are applying for college admissions and scholarships. I just wanted to make you aware that Jeff State has several full-tuition scholarship opportunities available for your students.
1) We offer Academic Scholarships based on ACT scores and gpa. The deadline for this scholarship is MARCH 1. Students must have at least a 22 ACT composite score and overall cumulative 3.0 gpa.
2) We also offer the guidance counselor’s scholarship that allows the counselor at each high school to select a student to receive a scholarship – students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative gpa. We only ask that you submit your student’s information at least 3 weeks prior to your school’s honors day program.
3) Ambassadors scholarship – This is not based on ACT score. Students selected for this scholarship become representatives of Jeff State and will participate in numerous activities and events. Attached is an informative sheet regarding roles/responsibilities of an Ambassador.
