Jacksonville State University is excited to be partnering with ALSDE by offering one week of applications with no application fee for applicants. Students may visit www.jsu.edu/applyto begin the process of creating an admissions account and completing the application. Applications submitted between November 2 and November 6 will not require an application fee or our required documentation of the student having received a test fee waiver (more information below). Please ensure your students review the admission requirements prior to submitting an application.
JSU will accept an application fee waiver from ACT or CollegeBoard for those students who obtained a test score fee waiver from the agency. (I keep these for you!) Your student can provide a copy of that waiver which indicates the unique code from the agency to the Admissions Office. Students should complete the online application for admission until the point of entering payment information. At that time the student may exit the application with it still in progress. When the Admissions Office receives the required fee waiver the application will be processed.
